Hey there!

Congratulations on your new outdoor space.

If we've delivered your landscaping, we hope you're as proud of it as we are.  We really do believe in enjoying the outdoors and hope the space at your place, delivers that for you.

If you're just looking for a few tips on garden care, welcome.

Most likely your outdoor space is easy care but for most of us, having a green thumb doesn't necessarily come naturally so we've put together a bit of a care guide.

Please Weed Me

  • Keep a look out for pesky weeds
  • Pull them out when you see them pop through or,
  • Keep a garden sprayer with weed killer handy.
  • Once a fortnight spot spray the weeds.

LAWN CARE

  • The key to a great lawn is, water...water, water, water!
  • As your lawn establishes (usually 4-6 weeks), you may need to water it as frequently as twice daily (morning and night).
  • An oscillating sprinkler and timer will help and can be picked up from your local DIY retailer for as little as $25 and $10 respectively.

The first cut

  • Once your lawn has established, it will need to be mowed.
  • The first few times, you'll need to give it a high cut.
  • And it's important to gradually cut the grass shorter over time.
  • To keep the grass thick & healthy, a lawn fertilizer can be used.

Top me Up

  • As time goes on and your garden settles, you'll find a top up of mulch and some detailing of your plants, will go a long way to making your outdoor space look brand new again.
  • Quality materials from a Landscape & Garden Supplies specialists will make all the difference.
  • We use & highly recommend product available at Central Landscapes Silverdale.
